I am actively investigating three fields: basic neuroscience research, technology development, and translational research to clinical dissemination. These interdisciplinary domains came into existence due to my integrated knowledge in different branches of neuroscience and engineering, including basic and computational neuroscience, signal processing, machine learning, biostatistics, neurology, experimental psychology, and interactions in the scientific, engineering, and clinical setting. I am using my expertise in these fields to explore the large-scale electrophysiological mechanisms within the nervous system that govern human behavior and cognition, and develop advanced diagnostic or treatment neurorehabilitation systems and other technologies for people affected by nervous system injury or disease.
