Once we have constructed computational models that can appropriately decode relevant task-related parameters, we will be able to decode important parameters about a person’s directional orientation (i.e., attention and intention) in real time. We will present this information to the investigator and use it to demonstrate that it can be used to optimize human performance.
We will conduct these real-time studies by appropriately using and extending the BCI2000 system developed collaboratively under leadership of our laboratory.
